'A FANTASTIC VFM OCTOPUS WHICH PERFORMS OUTSTANDINGLY' |
|
| Strengths: |
low weight, low breathing effort required, good dissipation of exhalation and low cost |
| Weaknesses: |
not as conspicuous as it's predecessor (the Alpha 7), although this is made up for with the supplied yellow hose! |
| Overall: |
A very suitable part of any rig! The low cost makes it very attractive to first time divers and once used along with it's counterpart, the A8 primary, many do not need or want to spend any more than they have and "upgrade" their set up! It outperforms a lot of 'higher end' regulators for ease of breathing and weight and makes it possible for you to dive easy knowing that your buddy has a reliable backup if necessary! |
